LATCHKEY PROGRAM AND VACATION DAY CHILD CARE:  Fairfield Academy provides child care services. The before school program opens at 6:30 a.m., and the after school program closes at 5:30 p.m. Additionally, throughout the year, a variety of holidays are observed by the school. On many of these days the Academy remains open and provides activities for the students whose parents work.

SUMMER DAY CAMP AND CHILD CARE PROGRAM:  Every year Fairfield Academy offers children an opportunity for an exciting, fun-filled summer full of high-interest activities. Each week centers around a specific theme developed with an eye toward adventure, education and fun! All the activities are designed to emphasize creativity, excitement, and learning. Children may enroll to attend any number of weeks. In addition to the theme related activities, field trips, computers, swimming, creative projects, water play, picnics, and a variety of entertaining outdoor activities are included in the weekly sessions.

READING AND MATH SUMMER SESSIONS:   The Reading and Math Summer sessions at Fairfield Academy maintain and reinforce critical skills as well as providing new ones. Small group instruction enables students to progress at their own speed and is utilized thoughout. Summer session attendees typically begin the next school year with an academic edge that gives them a head start and an advantage when returning to school.

Reading: Reading instruction is strong in phonics to ensure a command of the basics. Oral reading, reading comprehension, and writing are emphasized at appropriate levels.

Math: Math fundamentals are taught for mastery in order to provide a solid foundation in mathematical operations.
